“Don’t Dance” is the first single from Can’t Stop Not Knowing, the new EP from electro/punk band The New Loud, a band that lives up to its name having recently found its CMJ performance shut down by the cops for being just that. Can’t Stop Not Knowing consists of six tracks including an intense, frenetic cover version of the Radiohead song “2 + 2 = 5.” The EP’s title refers to a state of everyday-confusion: no matter what is accomplished or uncovered more of the unknown remains. Yet, at the same time it is impossible to stop trying to progress or to know. Can’t Stop Not Knowing was produced and recorded by band member Shane Olivo in his studio, Bobby Peru Recording in Milwaukee, WI. tags: electro, Milwaukee, punk, radiohead, The New Loud stats
