Back when I used to purely listen to electronic music for kicks with nothing else to worry about, this Italian duo called Scuola Furano got my attention. They released an album and an EP in 2006 called “Max Power” on Mantra Vibes that fused hip hop with old school 80’s disco and modern italo disco. More than a year ago they released the “Tribute” EP on La Valigetta which got them back into my radar and made me contact them almost immediately to invite them to do a mix for Monsta Sounds. Things got in between and the mix kept being post-phoned but now I can finally give you an exclusive mix by this amazing artists. You may think one year is a long time when it comes to electronic music but don’t let yourselves be fooled! Scuola Furano kept themselves busy over this past year releasing several remixes and putting out some groovy originals. For Monsta Sounds they did a piece called “Ain’t Nothing But A Summer Jam” which the perfect soundtrack for this year’s beginning of summer. In the middle of this display of groovy tunes that will make you move your body with a warm sunset at the beach in your mind you’ll find some brand new tunes and remixes by the duo, being this the perfect way to catch a glimpse of the future.
