ShoSho is an artist for which the term genre serves little definition. Power Failuuuuure (phonetically) is an offering that upholds this notion. With an infectuous melody that stops just short of hypnotising its listener – the tune is fast gathering fans accross musical genres and preferences.
The singer songwriter who writes all her own lyrics says it was one ‘those’ tracks; “sometimes, when I write a song, it pours out like dictation – like I already know it – those are the best”. It was a happening of this like that birthed the titled track out of a freestlye "I was in the studio with Cali and he was like – I got something for you. He started playing the beat and he could see my lips moving so he was like “get on the mic” so I did. The whole first verse and pre-hook plus the other bit (that later became the outro) came out in one take off the dome!"
