It all started with 2 teenager friends named Pierre and Victor hanging out at their local music school, listening to Stevie Wonder and Nirvana. Ten years later, they formed a band called HOUSSE DE RACKET (reference to tennis racket cover and house music) and are now releasing their first album “Forty Love”, co-produced and mixed by Renaud Letang, (Feist, Gonzales, Manu Chao, Micky Green…). The album is a fresh take on French pop combining influences from the “French Touch” era, 60’s melodic French song writing sensibility and the lot, crystallized in a modern pop sound. HOUSSE DE RACKET is like Phoenix, Serge Gainsbourg and Daft Punk having a house warming party. tags: housse de racket oh yeah pop electro french music musique paris gonzales 1234 stats
