After 2002s Where Is Here? and 2003s Hosomaki which first introduced to the world now renown artists such as Luciano, Miss Kittin, Cassy and several others, heres the new compilation from Mental Groove Records, aptly-titled Compilation.
Label head and compilation creator Olivier Ducret once again investigated every musical output that the flourishing musical scenes of Geneva have to offer, and selected the very best to introduce to the rest of the world. Compilation showcases the diverse talents of eleven bands or artists who still find new paths to draw on the global music map.
All eleven tracks on Compilation were crafted for this project specifically, and are exclusive to this release. Electronic music cohabits with afrobeat, rock, lo-fi pop and every sub-genre you couldnt name on Compilation, resulting in a solid, intriguing and eclectic yet harmonious assemblage.
