”Friday on My Knees”, the title track, which will also appear on the yet unnamed forthcoming album, is a claustrophobic love song that is reminiscent of early Dinosaur Jr, Orange Juice and Sonic Youth. But it is also true that the echoes go even further than that. You can hear the roots back from NYC 1975 in the sweet twin guitars and distorted bass lines. stats
