Sathönay is a band consisting of Jonathan Grancollot on drums and Nico Poisson on electric Saz. Saz is an oriental instrument, a type of mandolin, to be short.
We started playing together this year (2010). Jonathan also has two other bands, Robes et Manteaux and PanPanPan. Nico also plays in The Rubiks and NED. We live and enjoy working in Lyon, France.
Sathonay is the name of a square in our neighbourhood where we like to hang out.
