Kings of Leon - I’m not usually a fan of mash-up type music at all but this one is the exception. Fever Ray - The singer from The Knife’s solo project. This Balaeric mix from Studio is just the right side of cheese.
Animal Collective - Very fashion choice but I have an o.g. Trax pressing of ‘Your Love’ by Frankie Knuckles and as a fan of Panda Bear (and Maurizio and Carl Craig) I’ll claim it.
High Places - The sound of sunshine, dub, and smiles.
The Dodos - Visiter was one of my favourite CD’s of 2008. I guess this is new school folk.
Octopus Project - We used an Octopus Project song for a Props edit. I know Kevin Kiraly is into it also.
Passion Pit - If music could sound multi-coloured, this is what it would sound like. I put this on the Proper Myspace page and immediately people started to add it to there’s.
Radioclit -Fairtilizer is good for this type of thing. I guess this is world music but to me it’s as Balaeric as anything from Studio, Aeroplane etc.
Nottee -A good example of Fairtiler introducing new music. I’ve never heard of this band anywhere else.
Bear Hands -Not overly keen on the re-mix but the original is sweet – but not available on Fairtilizer yet!!
